Winter-Kabine mit Schnee
Winter magic in the Wildkogel Arena

75 kilometers of dream slopes, 85 percent of which are blue or red: the Wildkogel Arena in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region attracts families, beginners and those returning to the slopes. The remaining 15 percent are “black” challenges for experts.

Regardless of whether you choose the Wildkogelbahn in Neukirchen or the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg, once you are “on top” at 2,100 meters, you have the broad Tauern panorama in front of your eyes. These include some of the highest three-thousand-meter peaks in Austria including the Großvenediger (3,657 m). In addition, 75 kilometers of dream slopes with challenges for all classes spread out from the summit. Frühmesser, Pfeifferköpfl, Braunkogel, Gensbichl- and Ganzeralm are available.

The world's longest illuminated toboggan run

1 4 kilometers and 1,300 vertical meters: the longest, illuminated toboggan run in the world leads from the Wildkogel down to the valley - and a real challenge on runners. From the Smaragdbahn mountain station (2,100 m), the route meanders down into the valley to Bramberg. Big and small tobogganers really let it run on the track, which is illuminated every day until 10 p.m. They bring you to the top of the Wildkogel and Smaragdbahn lifts. Regular toboggan workshops provide useful tips on how to best and safely lean into bends. At the Ski Area Winter Awards, the Wildkogel Arena Neukirchen and Bramberg received the international toboggan run seal of approval.
